EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (ERT)
Course Overview

This course aims to train members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) in handling any fire emergency situation, especially in the workplace. It covers the fundamental understanding of fire safety, as well as prevention, rescue, and response skills required before, during, and after a fire emergency.

By the end of the session, the participants will be able to:

  • Determine the fundamental aspects of fire safety, including fire control and extinguishment.
  • Identify and explain the functions of active and passive fire protection systems effectively.
  • Analyse and develop an emergency plan and train the team to respond effectively during emergencies.
  • Execute building evacuation drills and emergency response correctly.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of building evacuation drills and emergency response.
  • Explain the principles and apply the correct techniques in fire extinguishing.
